Giving Back
We all have WAY too much. I am also in that group of quilters, having acquired so much in my career, decided to start giving back. I'm currently piecing quilted 'hugs' to distribute to those in need. Charitable organizations that I support are Women's Shelters and Religious Retreats. If you have ideas or comments, please feel free to contribute. Below are some of the items I've been working on. Join me in simplifying your stash and giving back to those in need. Tell me what you're doing.

This was done with a poly batting. I love the 'Xs & Os' edge to edge on this quilt. Lots of loft!
The quilt top was donated by the Dodd family when their mom had to go into a nursing home. Lots of fabric, batting and quilt tops were donated and went out to my busy quilting friends to stitch together. I kept the finished quilt tops and started quilting and binding to give to worthy causes. This one went to a very deserving couple - the lady's son and daughter in law in thanks for the wonderful donation.
Done and gone some time ago.
